We finally got the chance to play as a full team. 'Russ Shepherd' had to step in for Dave Griffiths as he had to go away with the 1st team. It was good to see a set of backs raring to go and we got off to a good start with the forwards setting up good platforms for the backs to work off especially in the scrums.

The lineouts were a bit dodgy tho with Egg blaming the wind instead of his throwing in. But we stuck at it and the backs started running in some good tries well orchestrated by Russ.

The second half came and it seemed like we slackened off and allowed Trojans to run in three tries, although two of them looked as tho they were knocked on. No matter, we stuck at it and almost hit the '50'. This time it was dodgy kicking by Egg. We had three debutants in Dan Williams, Paul Jeffries [Jeffers] and Chris Alston all played extremely well. Even Harry Allen managed to stay on the pitch! Well done everyone.

Imagine what we could do if all turned up for training... we need to train together so we can work more efficiently, and to incorporate those that want to be part of the successful squad that we are building. So please make every effort!
