Despite the team only having a squad of 8, they won all but one of their group round matches, facing dutch touring team Mie Thorsche in the final.
It was in fact the dutch team who had beaten them in the group stages.

However, the team came back, all guns blazing and won the final 4 tries to 1!

This was just the start the team wanted to their summer of 7s campaign, and now they can look forward to the up-coming tournaments; City of Manchester 7s and Bournemouth 7s.
