Southampton RFC – Ladies’ Team Head Coach

Southampton Ladies 1st IV are looking to recruit a new head coach to work alongside their assistant coach (already in position) for the 2014/15 season.
We are a friendly and dedicated team with a wide range of abilities from ladies who are in their first season, to some who have been playing for 10 years or more. We have entered a league for the first time this season (NC South 3) and are currently unbeaten, also reaching the quarter finals of the Junior National Cup. This sets us up for promotion at the end of the season. To continue on with this success, we are looking for a coach to come in and continue developing the team, to ensure we are as successful in the coming seasons.

Job Description/Time Commitment
Lead team coaching on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7-9pm)
Available to support the ladies at all matches (home and away) on Sunday afternoons
Able to support the development of players at all levels of ability
Work with the Captain on team selection, especially as squad size grows and selection becomes harder
Keen to enjoy rugby, and make sessions fun – although we are also keen to work hard!

Skills Required
Minimum level 2 qualification
Experience coaching ladies useful, but not essential
Experience working with players brand new to rugby

This is a role we are looking to fill ASAP, so for more details please contact Kirsty Jones:
